Echinacea, An Awesome Total Body Immune Booster
Share
Echinacea is used to stimulate the immune system by supporting and stabilizing cellular immunity and helps cleanse the blood to prevent and treat infections. Unlike antibiotics, which directly attack bacteria, Echinacea helps our own immune cells be more efficient at attacking bacteria, viruses and abnormal cells, including cancer cells. It increases the number and activity of immune system cells, including anti-tumor cells, also promotes T-cell activation, and stimulates new tissue growth. It stimulates the consumption of invading organisms by white blood cells and lymphocytes up to 20-40%. A definite immune booster. Echinacea prepares the body systems for other actions.
Echinacea is a natural cancer treatment now being recommended, literally, “alongside conventional therapy.”
Echinacea increases the production of white blood cells in the body, which helps battle against illnesses. Furthermore, the herb contains a compound called echinacein, which actually inhibits bacteria and viruses from penetrating healthy cells, thereby greatly reducing the chances of contracting any type of infection.
Although Echinacea is usually used internally for the treatment of viruses and bacteria, it is now being used more and more for the treatment of external wounds. It also kills yeast and slows or stops the growth of bacteria and helps to stimulate the growth of new tissue.
Echinacea’s effective natural pain reliever for bowels, headaches, pain associated with HSV (herpes), gonorrhea, snake bites, sore throats, stomachache, tonsillitis and toothaches.
Two common ways to use echinacea to combat pain is to drink the herbal Echinacea tea and to make a paste out of the dried herb and rub it directly on affected area.
Echinacea improves skin problems such as arthropod bites, eczema, inflammatory skin conditions, psoriasis, acne, stings and hard to heal wounds. It can also be used to regenerate skin.
Echinacea helps alleviate recurring infections such as genital herpes, malaria, syphilis, urinary tract infections, vaginal yeast infection, gum diseases, bloodstream infections, and typhoid. It allows for various immune-boosting compounds to build up and remain in the body. Also, Echinacea helps to reduce ear infections and builds up resistance to further infections.
Echinacea reduces gingivitis, which makes sense, considering that gingivitis is a bacterial infection. Regular use of Echinacea can be an effective way to help keep your teeth strong and healthy.
